The Center for Innovation in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (CFA) in Cádiz is much more than just a state-of-the-art facility: it is a strategic project that connects Andalusian industry with universities, technology centers, and the talent that is transforming our productive fabric.
With more than 18 million euros in investment co-financed by ERDF funds, the CFA offers companies a unique space to develop innovative projects and quickly integrate them into their production processes.
Spanning more than 1,700 square meters and designed specifically to drive applied innovation, the CFA works with key sectors such as shipbuilding, aerospace, biomedicine, construction and infrastructure, automotive, renewable energy, plastics, and leather, among others.
A center serving the industry
The CFA provides the business ecosystem with resources that make a difference:
- Large-format 3D printing to develop lighter and more efficient products.
- Robotics for the automation of industrial assembly processes.
- 3D scanning and advanced digitization for new designs and prototypes.
- Aerial and underwater drones for fast and safe inspections.
- Metrology and quality control using state-of-the-art equipment.
