The Cádiz Advanced Manufacturing Center (CFA Cádiz) was visited yesterday by professionals from the innovation department at Talgo, one of the leading companies in the rail sector.
The delegation consisted of Francisco José García Piñeiro, Patent Innovation Engineer; Eduardo de la Guerra Ochoa, Ph.D. in Engineering from the Department of Innovation; and Diego Escobar Redondo, specialist in project development, systems integration, validation, and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
During the event, attendees toured the CFA facilities and were able to see firsthand the technologies available at the center, as well as the capabilities it offers for the development of innovative industrial projects.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to share experiences and use cases related to additive manufacturing, a technology that is transforming design, development, and manufacturing processes across multiple industrial sectors.
The visit concluded with a joint assessment of potential opportunities for future collaboration, exploring synergies between the CFA’s technological capabilities and the innovation challenges facing the railway sector.
These types of meetings reinforce the role of the CFA Cádiz as a hub connecting businesses, technology, and innovation, fostering new opportunities for industrial development.
