The CFA Cádiz Drone Division is one of our most cutting-edge and strategic technological investments. This facility was created to meet the growing demand for effective solutions in fields such as shipbuilding, aerospace, logistics, industrial maintenance, and infrastructure.
Our center is equipped with advanced technology that enables us to perform complex tasks with a high degree of precision: drones equipped with RGB sensors, radiometric thermal cameras, laser rangefinders, and LiDAR technology. These tools are ideal for photogrammetry, structural inspection, thermal analysis, mapping, and the collection of accurate data in hard-to-reach or large-scale locations.
In addition, we have aerial/underwater platforms capable of operating both in the air and in the water, which significantly expands our operational capabilities: from inspecting ship hulls or submerged structures to monitoring operations in coastal or port environments.
This infrastructure allows us to provide companies and institutions with an environment for applied research and development, predictive maintenance, remote inspection, asset digitization, and the generation of valuable data.
Our center’s overall philosophy is complemented by the drone program: it’s not just a matter of having the technology, but of promoting technology transfer.
