SLA (Stereolithography Apparatus) is a 3D printing technology based on the photopolymerization of liquid resins that are sensitive to ultraviolet (UV) light. In this process, a UV laser beam or a similar light source traces patterns onto the surface of a liquid resin in a tank, selectively solidifying the areas that correspond to the layers of the object being printed.
